i apologize for my lack of tumblr updates…the past few days have been pretty intense. we played java jo’s in arlington 2 days ago…which was amazing. and what was even more amazing? once the venue closed, it became a karaoke jam! there is lots of video to follow. lets just say nickolas won hearts of many with his boyz 2 men jam, and i rapped baby got back. yes…pretty awesome. then yesterday we played at six flags over dallas. AMAZING. made some awesome new friends…by the end of the 3rd set, i was wore out. we ended up skipping rides and opted to meet up with some friends of our tour photographer chris mullins. we went to grab some chinese, then ended up at a punk rock bar, that apparently for st. patty’s day is filled to the brim with bro’s and chicks showing their boobs for beads. pretty intense. at that point we split up…some of us going to an open mic, and some of us going to a bar down the street to see a Cure tribute band. i partook in the Cure tribute band. great times, and met a bunch of new amazing people. even found out that we share mutual friends. its funny how that happens sometimes when you are hundreds of miles away from eachother.
we are currently in the truck heading to amarillo. today is our only day off on this whole tour, so we’re just gonna drive into amarillo then relax a bit. the weather in texas is gorgeous right now. there will be some bigger storms in our general area on saturday morning, so im pretty excited about that. tornado season has commenced, and i will be in the perfect spot in the country. who has two wiggley thumbs and is excited?? THIS GUY!
